The Committee
is elected by Fire Escape members at the end of Winter quarter,
and serves
through the following Winter. Any member of Fire Escape may run
for office.

Candidates may suggest themselves for particular positions when
running,
but the Committee itself will collectively decide, once it has
been elected,
which role each member will fill. |

Specific
Committee positions may vary from year to year, as the
organization's
needs change. The current Committee positions are as
follows:
CO-CHAIRS
The
Co-Chairs
are responsible for organizing meetings, communicating with the
club via
the listhost, working with the University administration to
further the
club's interests, supporting the other officers, picking up the
slack
wherever they have to, and in general making sure everything is
running
smoothly.

FINANCE CHAIR
The
Finance Chair
is in charge of club finance, and acts as the University
Administration contact.

EQUIPMENT CHAIR
The Equipment Chair coordinates reservations for Fire Escape's
equipment,
and makes sure that equipment is where it should be when it
should be.

DEVELOPMENT CHAIR
The
Development
Chair plans Fire Escape social events and parties, as well as
group trips and collaborations with other organizations.

FESTIVALS CHAIR
The
Festivals Chair is responsible for organizing Fire Escape Festivals, such
as the 48-Hr. Film Festival in Winter Quarter.

CO-EDUCATION
CHAIRS
The
Education
Chairs organize quarterly educational workshops for the club,
including
a regular faculty critique of student work. In addition, they
organize intro projects.

PUBLICITY CHAIR
The
Publicity Chair advertises and promotes Fire Escape meetings and events.

OFFICE
CHAIR
The
Office
Chair is in charge of keeping the Fire Escape Office organized,
clean
and full of love. He also maintains the Office computers, and
handles
reservations for editing time.
